SuperGroup

Apogee have worked with SuperGroup to develop a print policy to improve controls and drive a reduction in costs utilising print management software.

The Background

SuperGroup identified a need to refresh their print estate to achieve benefits such as improved printing governance and control, greater visibility and reduced printing costs across its UK Superdry stores and Head Office in Cheltenham.

The Solution

Apogee provided a blended Xerox-HP solution, providing national coverage for the majority of Superdry stores across the UK, coupled with their rapidly expanding Head Office. Each of the supported stores comes equipped with HP print technology, which integrates seamlessly with SuperGroup's bespoke back office till applications hosted by BT.

Additionally, Head Office were supplied with 25 multifunction Xerox devices and a new print management solution was implemented.

The Outcome

SuperGroup have successfully refreshed their print infrastructure throughout UK Superdry stores and Head Office, which has delivered significant benefits. Apogee were able to deliver, network and install each of the required devices which made the transition from old to new technology for each of their stores a streamlined process with minimal disruption.

Having print management software now provides key stakeholders with visibility of output across all networked devices by user level, which helps to strengthen governance and control over who produces what, meaning users are now accountable for their own print volumes.

Apogee have worked with SuperGroup to develop a print policy to improve controls and drive a reduction in costs, implementing rules to automate duplex printing and facilitating a reduction in the output of colour printing at user level utilising the print management software.

Benefits

  • Updated print infrastructure across UK stores and Head Office with minimal disruption.
  • Greater visibility of throughput, strengthening governance and control over printing via PaperCut print monitoring software.
  • Increased efficiency with a reduction of costs and colour printing through a developed Print Policy.
