Apogee sponsors the Royal British Legion ‘Rudolph Fun Run’

Apogee Corporation sponsored the Royal British Legion ‘Rudolph Fun Run’ on Sunday 17th December, an event that raises vital funds in support of Armed Forces veterans.

Apogee Corporation were proud to sponsor the Royal British Legion ‘Rudolph Fun Run’ community event on Sunday 17
th December 2023, which raised over £12,000 in support of Armed Forces veterans.

The Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) is an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and their families.

The ‘Rudolph Fun Run’ event raises vital income for the RBLI to continue the important work that they do, while encouraging participants and attendees to become part of a community supporting Armed Forces veterans and creating positive change in the local community.

“It’s wonderful that over 250 people took part in our Rudolph Fun Run. It’s a fantastic family event and I’d really like to thank Apogee for sponsoring the medals for everyone who took part. Fundraising events are so important to us, and both the runners and Apogee have made a massive difference to the lives of the veterans we support,” says Natasha Wadham, RBLI’s Events Fundraising Manager.

The event, held at Leybourne Lakes in Kent, involved both a 2.5km family fun route and a 5km chip-timed route to appeal to families and runners of all abilities.

“Sponsoring the RBLI Fun Run is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community local to our head office in Maidstone. We’re really proud to support this event to help bring together the local community and ultimately raise awareness of Armed Forces veterans and their families, whilst bringing some festive fun too!” adds Dom Gryszan, Director of Marketing at Apogee.

This sponsorship is part of Apogee’s drive to support community-based projects in Kent, as well as other areas around the UK and Ireland, to positively impact its local communities.
