Apogee receives HP Partner Platinum Sustainability Award

Apogee’s sustainability efforts have received recognition from HP’s global channel partner program.

The Platinum Certification was awarded to Apogee for its sustainable services to HP, Inc.

The program encourages partners to address three ‘Sustainable Impact’ pillars: Planet, which focuses on working toward a circular and low-carbon economy; People, which concerns human rights, diversity, and inclusivity; and Community, which aims to improve local communities by offering educational and economic opportunity.

The Platinum Certification marks the recognition of Apogee’s considerable achievements toward these three pillars. Since 2020, Apogee has invested £250,000 into employee training and development, and given £12,042.93 to various charities in 2021 alone. Apogee also currently holds a 4.5 star approval on Glassdoor, with 84% of employees saying in an anonymous survey that they would remain at Apogee even if offered a similar role at another company.

Additionally, Apogee has decreased its total emissions generated through combustion of gas by 100%, business vehicles have decreased by 38%, and recycling of office waste has increased by 115%.

“We have continued to develop Environmental & Social Governance at Apogee with clear goals and objectives outlined, including Net Zero by 2030,” says Mark Smyth, Apogee’s Chief Operating Officer.

“Whilst there’s lots to do, the team has made great progress, and achieved some outstanding results - and we were thrilled to be recognised by HP for the sustainable services we provide on their behalf.”

Apogee continues its journey to drive positive sustainable impact; with its efforts contributing to HP’s wider goals to enable change across the globe.
