Konica Minolta Toner Supplies Update – How might this impact you?

Following the recent news of an explosion at one of Konica Minolta’s toner factories in Japan, Apogee has been working with our supplier to provide an update and better understand the impact this will potentially have.

On a positive note, Konica Minolta has now confirmed no one was injured during the explosion on August 12 2021. However, supplies production and shipments have been suspended whilst an investigation into the cause of the explosion is conducted in collaboration with local fire and police departments.

Implications will be immediate and quite significant for the supply of toner. Apogee will unfortunately experience impact to toner supplies from late September for an unknown period. Konica Minolta sincerely apologises for the impact this will cause and is working tirelessly on many levels to improve this situation as quickly as possible.

Apogee will continue to communicate updates, as and when they are available, directly to clients impacted and also via this website.

Konica Minolta has made assurances to continue to do everything possible to minimise the impact on all clients and resume production under safe conditions as soon as possible.

Apogee has formulated a dedicated team to help support clients through this difficult period that can be contacted at konicaminolta@apogeecorp.com.
