Apogee is proud to announce its membership with Capital Connect - a business membership network and social value initiative run by Capital City College (CCC), the largest further education college in London.

Capital Connect is CCC’s official business support network, offering organisations a practical and cost-effective way to support local education, gain brand exposure amongst students, engage with the college’s senior leadership, access a growing employer network, and build connections with future workforce talent.

Angela Joyce, Chief Executive Officer of Capital City College, said: "Capital Connect is about creating meaningful partnerships that benefit both businesses and our students. By joining now, organisations can play a direct role in shaping the future workforce while gaining access to fresh ideas and talent. It’s an opportunity to make a real impact where it matters most - education and skills."

With growing numbers of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET), and with skills shortages across many sectors, the College offers a wide range of courses designed to support individuals at every stage of life and meet the needs of almost every industry. At the same time, further education colleges need increased funding to help support the progress of students and demand for top-tier training - which is where Capital Connect partners come in.

Gary Day, Director of Public Sector at Apogee, said: “Our membership with Capital Connect reflects Apogee’s commitment to empowering future talent and supporting meaningful social value in the communities we serve. By partnering with Capital City College, we have the opportunity to engage directly with emerging professionals, contribute to their development, and help shape a diverse and skilled workforce for the future.”

Chris Morgan, Commercial Director at Capital City College, said: “Employers who sign up to Capital Connect aren’t just buying into a membership network, it’s much more than that. Capital Connect is an investment into young people’s futures, and that starts with supporting further education. I can’t think of a nobler cause than that.”

By joining Capital Connect, Apogee strengthens its dedication to nurturing future talent, supporting accessible education, and championing social value across the communities it serves. This partnership represents an exciting step forward in our work to inspire the next generation, collaborate with educators, and contribute to a stronger, more skilled workforce for the future.
