The Kennel Club

The ongoing services Apogee provided to The Kennel Club covered all maintenance, system parts with priority availability of spare parts, priority escalation of technical issues and full service support.

The Background

As part of The Kennel Club office relocation, the existing print infrastructure needed updating, but specific requirements had to be achieved before a technology overhaul would be undertaken.

The main objectives The Kennel Club wanted to achieve included; reducing overall costs associated with their print output and improving the uptime and reliability of their devices and service.

The Kennel Club issued a tender to invite potential providers to present their recommended solutions and understand what the whole of the market could offer.


The Solution

Apogee won the tender to supply and service multi-functional devices based on their experience in the managed print and service sector and the solution recommended. Initially they replaced all devices in a new office building located in Mayfair, London, supplying 2 x Ricoh MP C8002 and 4 x Ricoh MP C6003 machines with a print management software that ensured Follow Me Print and secure print release.

One of the devices included a booklet maker fitted to enable production of show leaflets and marketing materials, reducing their requirements to outsource these print jobs and further reduce costs. Full training to understand the true benefits of the new print management services were also provided to ensure core activities remain robust and operational.


The Outcome

Apogee diligently covered all the print and document needs that were stated in the agreed tender request. The benefits provided included:
