Redford & Co are an innovative accountancy practice based in London, established in 1968. They are a dedicated team of professional tax advisors, specialising in tax planning, business advice and investments across a broad and diverse client base originating in the film and advertising industries.
Relaince Upon Stored Physical Files to Access Client Information
In 2025, Retford & Co moved their corporate offices within central London. Over many years that had accumulated a records library of physical legacy client files, taking up valuable floorspace within their premises which needed to be emptied - whilst still retaining the ability to access their important client information.
Need to Access Digital Information Electronically via a Single Centralised Repository
Apogee worked with Redford & Co's team to identify their challenge and develop a project solution to future-proof access to information. Apogee arranged collection, registration and intake of all client files from the old premises, cataloguing and digitising them as part of the office move, helping reduce the amount of physical documentation you needed to retain.
Improved Digital Access to Important Client Information.
Apogee supported Redford & Co through arranging a bespoke project to collect and intake all files. Key fields of information were captured against each individual file according to client requirements, creating a new electronic inventory capable of being searched by keyword through OCR - ready for upload and ingestion into their in-house Electronic Document Management System.

Over 5 working days, Apogee’s Scanning Solution digitised 540 legacy client files, contained within 50 storage boxes, with an average of 210 pages per file, creating over 250,000 images, successfully transferred for ingestion into the client EDMS - with all legacy files securely destroyed. Redford & Co were able to reduce their space and physical footprint, save money, improve access to client information, and support their future Digital Strategy against a pre-set project budget with Apogee.
