Apogee raises over £4700 for Rethink Mental Illness

With thanks to their ever-popular Christmas Charity Advent Calendar, Apogee employees raised a total of £4,776.93 for the Rethink Mental Illness charity in December 2021.

LONDON, UK, 05/01/22

The festive fundraiser, which takes place every December from 1st-24th, gives Apogee employees a chance to buy as many raffle tickets as possible in the hope of winning a fantastic host of prizes kindly donated by Apogee’s partners and suppliers.

With 30 prizes up for grabs over the 24 days of advent, the lucky winners managed to get their hands on a Virgin experience days voucher, a Nespresso coffee machine, a Sonos speaker, an Amazon fire tablet and much, much more!

The Charity Advent Calendar aims to support as many people as possible through the chosen charity every year. Across what has been a tough couple of years for many, Apogee was thrilled to once again fundraise for such a fantastic charity that supports people severely affected by mental illness through their diverse range of specialist services and life-changing support groups.

Apogee employees raised £4,776.93 for Rethink Mental Illness, which gave substantial support to those in need through community and careers support groups and mental health and money advice.

Mark Winstanley, Chief Executive of Rethink Mental Illness, said: “We are delighted to have the support of everyone at Apogee this year. By raising much-needed funds through their advent calendar, this money will help us support people severely affected by mental illness while raising vital awareness of the importance of mental health. Thank you so much to everyone involved.”

Dom Gryszan, Director of Marketing at Apogee Corporation, added, “I am incredibly proud of Team Apogee and the amount of money raised by this year’s Charity Advent Calendar for Rethink Mental Illness.

“Every year, we set out to beat the target of the previous fundraiser, and I am very grateful to all those who donated and supported this great cause again this year to help us hit that target.

“After a particularly challenging couple of years, we are especially proud to support a charity that offers so much to those affected by mental health”.
