Join Us and Participate in This Year’s Earth Hour
What is Earth Hour?
It is now held annually on the last Saturday of March. Earth Hour is one of the world’s largest grassroots movements for the environment and encourages millions of people in over 180 countries to switch off their lights and show support for the planet.
Earth hour has sparked global conversations about protecting nature, because it is our strongest ally against climate change. According to WWF, nearly 1 in 6 species are at risk of extinction from climate change and our incredible oceans and forests need protecting too.
How to get involved in Earth Hour:
In light of the on-going Coronavirus outbreak, below is a list of things that can be done to participate in this year’s Earth Hour:
01. Switch off your lights
This is the DNA of the Earth Hour movement and the easiest way to participate this Earth Hour. Simply switch off all non-essential lights for an hour!
Get some candles ready and whip up healthy and delicious meals that will make your taste buds tingle!
03. Camp in your backyard or living room
If you love the adventure of camping outdoors, we challenge you to turn your back garden or living room into your very own camping space!
04. Up your sustainability knowledge and know-how
